Saddle up, Pilgrim, and enjoy an evening with “John Wayne” at the Baytown Historical Preservation Association’s A Taste of History on Saturday, April 30, 6 p.m., at the Baytown Christian Academy! After enjoying some lip smackin’ barbecue with the fixins’, we’ll gather around to listen to “John Wayne,” a modern icon of the Old West who became a part of American culture and now a part of American history. Our friend J.R. "Jack" Edmondson, a noted living historian, re-enactor, and author, will be portraying Duke in the first person.
Tickets ($38 per person) can be purchased in person by calling 281.421.2099 or emailing info@baytownhistory.org. Online tickets can be purchased securely using PayPal or a credit card by clicking the PayPal Button below. Please note tickets will not be mailed but will be held at the Ticket Table for you on the evening of the event. Deadline to puchase tickets is Tuesday, April 26.
